Default What are some of your favorite cover versions of Van Halen songs?

I really this version of "Romeo Delight" with the little nod to "Whole Lotta Love" at the 3:40 mark ...

"It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth

"If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you"

"Be careful what you wish for because you just might lose what you already have"

"Women and Children First ... The REAL Van Halen III"

Eddie should hire that guy to tour as the singer.

Some here may not get this, but this is a GREAT cover.

I love it too. I think we're the only ones. My fav of any cover I've heard. Most fall short vocally or musically.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a cover song posted here from the Hagar era yet?

Who's up for the challenge to find and post one here (not from a tribute band!).

Redfoot? this has your name written all over it

That's very cool indeed . Steve S. is a fantastic guitar player too . Very neat to this this . And of course , Steve has totally in love with Ed's EBMM design !!! Rightfully so

I always liked Mary Lou Lord's version of "Jump".
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

At first queer - but then it gets pretty cool, the longer you listen to it. Hear About It Later does "fit" the arrangement better, though, IMO.
