Between this and the photo of the Unchained guitar my latest theory (as posted in the new album thread) is that the 'project' is a FW reissue (maybe with bonus tracks) and a tour where they play it front to back. Plus all the hits.

Pretty cool little clip . I remember hearing Sunday Afternoon in the Park for the first time ; It sounded eerie and awesome at the same time .
    Still gives me chills ...

SAITP and Intruder are two instrumentals that I always felt were never finished. Perhaps they were just over too soon for my taste?

I was brought up listening to Chicago (among other groups) and I can't help but wonder if there is some weird connection between the Chicago song Saturday In The Park and the VH song. I can't really think of any, but I'm certainly no expert.

i've collected everything VH my whole life. i have a magazine somewhere where Ed says that he wrote Sunday Afternoon in the Park after he and Valerie had a fight. totally explains the vibe. love when Mike used it as part of his solo on the FUCK tour with Al. love watching Wolfie play it. i was 7 when that came out. discovered VH when i was 9. have loved that song since i was 9. thanks Wolf!!

Cool, I guess. All 10 seconds of it. I wish Wolf would write his own stuff versus play dad's oldies.

Well, he's doing that-- writing and recording and rehearsing and touring in Tremonti for all of 2014 and 2015, and has left Van Halen behind to make room for the return of Michael Anthony, remember?

Probably the most sinister thing Eddie wrote. Always thought it sounded like a Black Sabbath song. Could hear Ozzy singing on top of it

Or they are RE-RECORDING Fair Warning with Wolfgang... Wouldn't that also fit under the description of a "new project" and "not a new album"? More than a few bands have been doing that recently.

Nail in VH coffin. I won't buy. Since Eddie probably wrote and played bass on FW (cf. "Dirty Movies") it would be redundant.

Maybe they are going to be concentrating on playing a bunch of Fair Warning songs on the next tour. On the Dave reunion tour they played most of VH....on the ADKOT tour they played a whole bunch of VH2 songs and some DD songs....maybe on the next tour Fair Warning !!

What are you talking about? Eddie has made it clear to us that Wolfgang was always in the band. Who is this "Mike" guy you're always talking about?
