    Default DLR at Indy 500?

Interesting article posted today about replacing Jim Neighbors to sing "Back Home Again in Indiana" at the Indianapolis 500.
DLR is on the list of possible singers.
I wonder if he would want to do it?

I would think they'd want someone that is mostly identified with Indiana whereas DLR is more a mix of CA, NY, and Mars with a small sprinkling of Japan being added to the mix. Many of the other names would seem to fit the bill a bit better.
I'm not conceited. Conceit is a fault and I have no faults.

Other possibilities, as likely as DLR: Michael Jackson, Axl Rose.

    Probably John Mellencamp
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

Not to sure why they would call DLR avuncular, unless they meant it in a "cool, crazy uncle" kind of way. Odd choice of word to describe him.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

DONATE TO THE LINKS YA CHEAP BASTARDS!!!!
