    Pretty good sound quality.

This Foamfoot55 guy seems to have a lot of rare stuff posted. I wonder who he is and where he got it?
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

They were such a tight band then.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

A man's rights rests in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

Yeah, whether you like Sam or not you have to admit that they were a well oiled machine. Not as raw and wild as the early years, but in many respects a much more professional rock outfit.

I have always preferred the more refined performances of seasoned musicians to the raw quality of early years. That's why I love Van Hagar and Chickenfoot. This is just my preference, fellas. I know others feel differently, and that's cool.

get chills every time i see one of these 91'-93' videos. they are just awesome!! like above, like it or not with Sammy they were the best band in the world hands down. seriously wish they could find a way to patch it up and do it once more because again like it or not sammy can still bring it and the way EVH is now it could be incredible.

    More refined??

Edward and Alex didn't suddenly "find" their performance abilities in 1991

They were playing the most incredible licks from day one...

Did you even attend any of the Roth era tours?

I cannot believe to this day how Hagar completely blew off the 6 pack and refused to represent it live. Don't get it.

Can you imagine that happening with Zepp or The Who?????

He must have had a real personal problem with Roth that predated things.

I don't post on here that often, but i do read alot of posts. You seem to comment on almost everything around here about how good Van Hagar was in comparison to VH. I am willing to bet you never saw VH 1978 to 1984, because if you did, you would not be making comments like the one above. VH was a well oiled maching on top of their game in the early years. Look at the videos from 1981 since you probably never saw them as proof. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but you seem to voice your same Van Hagar opinion on EVERY thread.

I'm a DLR guy, and I will say that they were tighter with Hagar. They just were. One isn't better than the other.

They were the world's greatest bar band playing arenas with Roth.

They were the world's greatest arena rock band with Hagar.

Just two different approaches to live playing. One isn't necessarily better than the other. You can like both, and even prefer one to the other, and it not be bashing the other.

Everyone needs to get a little bit thicker skin around here in my opinion, myself included, jeez, people shouldn't have to add a "but I like Sam too" or " I like DLR as well" statement to the end of every post.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

    Default Bar band with DLR?

VH with DLR was the greatest ARENA band, not a bar band! Nobody had ever put on a live show with a stage setup like VH with DLR (the only one that came close was KISS, but they did not have the energy that VH did). We can agree to disagree, but VH with DLR was legendary. My point is Redfoot makes the same comment on EVERY thread. No need to grow thick skin, and no need to keep making the same posts over and over. I was there for every tour since 1978, and nothing compares to the 6 pack years. If you were there, as Sam would say, "what is understood need not be discussed".
