    Yep.

That and "1013". I like pissed off Sammy Hagar. Happy, rich, in love Sammy Hagar? Not so much. Musically speaking of course.

I'm happy for him that he has such an awesome life.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

I really think Sam is one of us with 100 or so million very rare.

I agree. On M2M Sammy had and incredible group of talent working with him and it all came together even though there wasn't really a radio format for the music at the time. "1013" was the Wabos second album and Sam still had something to prove. I enjoy Red Voodoo too but the second album was the highlight of the Wabo's.

Red Voodoo is where he began to lose me as a solo artist.

Good songs here and there, but overall albums? Not so much, until Chickenfoot.

The beach, flip-flop, waborita themes don't bother me. That really reflects the life Sammy leads and what makes him happy. While I prefer the Red Rocker, as you can tell by the songs I selected from Red Voodoo, I can appreciate Sammy's musings on his other interests.

M2M, 10/13, then Red Voodoo are my favorite post-VH solo efforts. I do love Karma Wheel from Not 5 Sale, as well.

It is a great album. I think if theres a filler, it would be "Do it for free" and I've never taken to "Kama" for some reason...
but the rest is steller Sammy.
My top 5 Sammy solo are -
    "V.O.A"
    "The Red album"
    "Standing Hampton"
    "Marching to mars"
    "Ten13"
What is understood need not be discussed

"Dont disturb my paradise. I've asked you once. I've asked you nice" - "SERIOUS JU JU"

"I am in a blissful state. Dont bug me!!!" - Richard Dreyfuss "The Goodbye girl" 1977

Great album, one of Sam's best solo outings.
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

I like this album a lot, except the title track. I think Sam's song writing on this one is outstanding.

I think it is probably his best. Definitely his best post VH with the exception of the first Chickenfoot album.

As far as songs go, it would have been interesting to see what Montrose could have done beyond Leaving the Warmth of the Womb.

I'll take Marching to Mars over anything else Sam has done outside of VH, including CF.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.
