James Jones - WR - Raiders
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders coaches think James Jones "might have too much wear to be suited for the No. 1 role."

It's a bit of a confusing notion, as Jones is just 30 years old and was never targeted more than 98 times in any of his seven seasons with the Packers. Perhaps the Raiders coaches simply don't think Jones is good enough to be a No. 1 wideout. That would make a lot more sense, as he's always had JAG kind of ability. Jones gets a boost with Derek Carr taking over for Matt Schaub, but he's still a WR4/5 as he shares targets with Denarius Moore and Rod Streater.

Gee, I wonder what they were thinking of after signing the Packers #3 WR. Jesus, this is a dumb ass organization. "Ooh, let's go pay Schaub 8 million to throw it to him! We'll be unstoppable!"

Will we see a rematch of last season's Super Bowl between Seattle and Denver?

Nope. It's Green Bay vs. Denver, with Green Bay taking the Lombardi back to Titletown USA.

I'm ready for another .500 season out of Dallas.

Let's see how Seattle does after winning the Super Bowl.

The Raiders just confuse me, period. They make more bad choices than I do.

    I think a .500 season is overly-optimistic.

Ravens have a decent squad again this year. It all comes down to several factors. Play of your QB, health of your top players, and development of first and second round picks.

Another football season in St. Louis, another season of disappointment.

They haven't had a winning record in 10 years, and now with the injury to Bradford, I'm worried this is going to set the organization back another 10 years and possibly get them moved out of town. That may seem drastic, but let me explain:

It's no secret the Rams are struggling to maintain a large fan base here. A terrible team for a decade, an owner missing in action, and a stadium lease deal looming like a dark cloud is never a good combination to build a loyal following. When the Rams drafted Bradford, he was supposed to be the next Troy Aikman. He was going to grow with the team and take us to the playoffs. After his first season it looked like it could be possible, but eventually all the beatings started to add up.

He got uneasy in the pocket, he would check down way to often because he feared making a mistake, and he was missing easy throws because he heard footsteps all the time. At the same time the Rams drafted poorly by getting guys that weren't able to make an immediate impact. The irony is that those drafts are starting to pay dividends as the Rams now have a deeper roster of talent, but now they are devoid of a leader to take them anywhere.

We're not going to the Super Bowl--or less, the playoffs--with Shaun Hill as our guy. The frustrating thing is that there are viable options in the near future for the Rams. There are three ways to get a QB:

    - Acquire a veteran via trade or free agency. Not a promising option since no one is selling or parting ways with franchise QBs, and the ones that are going probably not much better than Shaun Hill.

    - Draft a QB high in the draft. This would work if the Rams were awful everywhere else, but their team has enough talent to be around .500 which means all the tops QBs will be gone.

    - Draft late in the first, or sometime in the 2nd or 3rd rounds and hope that you can develop a QB into something special. The trouble there is that the Rams don't have the luxury of time to develop anyone since they don't have a viable QB now. Plus, many of their top players are entering their prime so the window of opportunity may only be 2 or 3 years with the way the NFL is.

Basically, the Rams are fucked, have no future to look towards, and billionaire owner Stan Kroenke can use St. Louis' misery as leverage to fleece tax payers for a new stadium or threaten to move the team to LA (where they came from, where Stan happens to own a large plot of land next to a viable stadium plan, and where he's on the NFL committee overseeing the LA plans) or London (where he's already comfortable with his ownership of Arsenal).
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.
