    Default "Live Right here right now" bonus tracks breakdown...

    I'm guessing I'm right where these extra tracks were recorded...if I'm not right anybody can chip in and clarify.
    I've had the "Jump (live)" cd since it came out and it has "Eagles fly' and "Mine all mine" live on it, or "Are they live"???.
    my guess is that "Eagles fly" was recorded during the 91/92 "F.U.C.K" tour, but where, I'm not sure.
    "Mine all mine" was recorded in Tokyo '89. Recorded from the pro-shot show they filmed....since it wasn't played during the "F.U.C.K" tour, and I doubt they recorded it from the tour of '88.

    Now....about "Love walks in" and "Wont get fooled again" from the album...
    I'm guessing these were both recorded totally at "5150". "Love walks in" doesn't sound anything like the version from the "5150" tour.

    "Wont get fooled again"....the same feeling. I've got a video of them at "5150" doing this in the studio, and its exactly the same as the recorded track.

    I've heard "Dreams" was recorded at whiskey au go go separately before their show in '93 kicking off the tour.....is this true??

    "Dont disturb my paradise. I've asked you once. I've asked you nice" - "SERIOUS JU JU"

    Mine All Mine very well could be from the FUCK tour, they played it a lot on that tour, usually to open

    Mine All Mine is the version from the Japan pro shot show 88/89 or whatever. And I'm pretty sure Eagles Fly is the same version from the LRHRN video.

    "Mine all mine" was NEVER played on the "F.U.C.K" tour mate.
    You've got it mixed up with the American leg of the "Right here right now" 1993 tour, which was after the release of the live album.

    Yeah, they're live. Just not from those two nights when it was recorded.
    I imagine Won't Get Fooled sounds a lot like the studio version cuz it got touched up a lot for the live record.

    I don't think "Dreams" is from the Whiskey. Never heard that. If it was, something like that would most likely end up being a bonus track like the rest of them.

    The confusion comes from the promo video they put out for MTV. Here is the Video of "Dream" from 1993. It was quite a big deal when they shot in in LA in March 1993. Huge crowds, made the local news.

    It is different from the RHRN version on the cd that was recorded in Fresno May 1992. Listen to the first part of Ed solo for the biggest difference.

    RHRN cd version from Fresno 1992

    +++++

    Regarding Love Walks in and WGFA from RHRN, we have been over this about a million times now. They were done in the studio with crowd noise added.

    ++++

    Mine all Mine is from Tokyo February 1989.

    I think ATBL was recorded at 5150 too. Sammy's phrasing is completely different than any live bootleg I've heard.

    Yeah, I remember it vividly. Sounds completely different, too me Don't know why people are confusing it.

    Just my little opinion, but how they at the same time could be the best live band in the world, and then decide to RE-RECORD ALMOST EVERYTHING before they put out a live disc shows the level of Ed's insecurity at the time.
    Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

    Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

    David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Cocaine's a hell of a drug.

    They would have been better off releasing the Whisky gig on DVD. Actually held a special meaning and it would have made for a cool DVD performance to own.

    They already had the RHRN video from Fresno 1992 produced and in stores by the time the Whisky video would have been out in 93.

    The 1993 Whisky video would probably only interest hardcore fans like us(I would buy it for sure).

    They put out the Fresno show as that represented the 91-92 FUCK tour and the full scale show production. It was like the next step after LWAN from New Haven 86.

    OK... since we are talking about RHRN.

    SLightly off topic.

    Everyone agrees that Love Walks In from RHRN was recorded in the studio @ 5150.

    Funny thing is Ed has some feedback at 2:34 right before the solo. Did he fuck up on purpose and then leave it in to give it the LIVE feel? Riddle wrapped in a mystery this band...

    Up until now I assumed that sound was a whistle... I never put much thought into it but that's silly.
