Default SAMMY, MIKE, and GARY jam

Has anyone seen the photo of Sammy, Mike and Gary rocking out to Zeppelin's Rock and Roll on this summer's tour? This would be awesome to see. This, along with the Sam and Dave tour, proves to me once and for all that the problems with Van Halen are not created by Sam. He seems to do everything possible for the fans, including jamming with previous and original members of Van Halen. He extended the white flag to Dave during their tour.
I think Ed and Dave need to, once and for all, get their heads out of their asses and do it for the fans. It would be so cool to see a full reunion tour, with all the eras rightfully represented, imagine seeing them all jam to Rock and Roll!!! Sam, Gary, and Mike would help Dave and Van Halen sing the songs with the high upper end harmonies and melody. They would make a boat load of $$$$, and the fans, this one included, would be very happy. It needs to happen- it would be a GREAT way to end an Awesome career for an Awesome band!!!!

I was at that show! I have the whole Sammy show on video, including where Gary comes up on R&R. I'll post it soon.

If there was no such thing as ego, I think it would happen. Sadly, there is enough of that within VH to last multiple lifetimes. And it's a shame, because i too would love to see it happen.

Sam and Gary are buddies, maybe they don't hang out every day or even every week but they've never really had any bad feelings towards each other. Hell, Gary was on the Long Road to Cabo DVD and on Sam's last live record. Mike and Gary have always been cool as far as I know.

Sam's a cool guy.....I've really never heard anyone say a bad word about him except for Ed and Al.....maybe Ronnie Montrose but he was a "strange" guy from what I hear.

For me, as a fan I find the fact that these guys can't bury the hatchet after all this time pretty sad. Ed and Sam were friends despite how things ended...it's a shame they haven't mended fences.

We can only hope that all members (current or ex) would reunite for a song. The fans would love it!!

    Looks like it!

The band features bassist Michael Anthony, formerly of Van Halen and currently of Hagar supergroup Chickenfoot; Vic Johnson, who works with Hagar in the Wabos, is the bandís funk-dappled guitarist and occasional backup vocalist; and drummer Jason Bonham.

I figured that out in the 90s when Eddie was saying the exact things about Sammy that he had previously said about Dave. Suddenly Eddie was the common denominator. I realize lead singers are frequently douches, but Eddie could have changed the vibe a little.

While that would be cool, do any bands who have changed members do that? I've heard of one-off shows where various previous members show up to jam, but a full tour?

I don't think of any other bands out there that have been so successful with 2 guys singing for them as vh has.

you can be a fan of either era but you can't deny how much success the other era had.....well, I guess you can but you end up sounding like an ass when you do.

Sam and Mike will always be associated with VH, same as Dave. A tour with ed, al, sam, dave, mike and even wolf would be huge.

Gary can open with Extreme and join in on 2 VH3 Songs. Probably will be Without You and Fire in the Hole.
I really want to hear Nuno play some Eddie.
