Default Looking for some help !

Okay this is a long shot , but here it goes ...

About 2 summers ago , I used to hear this song on the radio at work . Toronto 94.9 FM was the station . No idea of the band's name or the title of the song - that's my problem .

From memory , it had a detuned riff that sounded a bit like Rob Zombie-ish material . I also recall a couple of open G or D string hits and then a pinch harmonic . I believe somewhere in the chorus(?) the singer would belt out "Here I go , Here I go . YEEAAHH!"

I'm sure that I heard they were a newer Canadian band , but could be wrong . Sorry for the vague info but I'm stumped here folks ...
Any thoughts ? Thanks for any and all help or suggestions . Cheers

"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - a very wise fan.
