Default What songs did EVH record with Peavey Wolfgang and EBMM EVH?

Does anyone know what songs EVH used a Peavey Wolfgang for and the EBMM EVH on?
One noticeable difference between Judas Priest and Metallica...
...Judas Priest only has one gay guy in the band.

I'm doing this from memory, so I'm sure you fellas around here could fix my errors.

Most of FUCK was EBMM. Poundcake had a 12 string for the chorus/main theme. Runaround was a tele (the main song...not the solo). TOTW was the Flying V that he used on HFT.

Almost all of Balance was EBMM (solo on BFM was something else that I can't recall).

I think Human's Being was the first use of the Peavey WG. Both BOV were Peaveys. MWM had a modified trans trem on a Peavey WG ala the Steinberger.

All of VH3 was Peavey WG. The BOBW tunes were as well.

Then he blowed them all up in Tucson at the end of the tour.

Really? The Flying V for top of the world?? Not doubting you, just surprised by this. Sounds as much EBMM to me as the rest of the album. Interesting.

I believe he used a Gibson ES-335 for the BFM solo. He also used his Marshall for the solo (as well as Aftershock)

You're right. Very similar sounding. I'd be hard pressed to hear the difference in HFT in comparison to the other songs on '84.

I remember reading it in a GW article in 91 or 92 about making and recording FUCK. If I can find it, I'll post it.

    Here's a reference from VHND.

Do you, or does anyone else, happen to know if he had more than one Wolfgang fitted with a TransTrem? We've all seen the white one, but I seem to remember seeing a photo of maybe a black one somewhere a long time ago. I think the routed-out part behind the TransTrem was different, too.

    Good link.

I'm thinking he just used it for the second guitar doing the pick slides, fills, and subtle 'backing track' to the main guitar. The main guitar has wammy in the solo and just sounds too much like his EBMM and the rest of the album to me. Of course just my opinion and could easily be wrong.

Yup, there was a black one too.

Also, the 5150's final studio appearance was on Judgement Day. And just for kicks, ADKOT was all the Wolfgang Stealth except for "As Is" (D2H Wolfgang), solo/fills on "You and Your Blues" (strat), and "Blood and Fire" (Ripley). And a TON of VH3 sounds like P90 loaded Wolfgangs to me.

I need to find it, but in a Guitar World interview Eddie said he used it for the entire thing.

Solos whammy. So that's probably a EBMM prototype. I thought at first he said it was a tele, then said it was the Flying V? I'm probably wrong.

Totally agree HFT sounds like Panama. Hard to hear much difference on 1984.

I'm about to start a thread about Ed using one guitar(mostly) for an album and we don't know it.

Sorry, you're absolutely right. Solo, EBMM. Rest "V."

Maybe a thread that details the gear that Ed used on every song? We'd probably fill it up in about ten minutes.

Plus that VHND article said the V was used on Drop Dead Legs. Again, whammy in both parts of the song....the main song and the outro solo, so.....??
