I don't know if it's old news for you guys, but if not this is pretty big!

I just stumbled upond "Lost Boys Calling", the theme song of the movie "The Legend Of 1900"!
It is a track co-written by EVH and Roger Waters, and they both perform on it!!!!!!
More interesting, the movie was released at the end of 1999! So it's fairly recent, and the DVD came out this year (just saw it at blockbuster). It should actually be the latest recorded material by EVH available.

Wonder if anyone has heard the song... Since VH hasn't communicate since 1999, it kinda makes sense that we haven't heard about it.

Anyone has any info on that collaboration?

    "Lost Boys Calling"

Sony Music artist and Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters toured this summer for the first time in 12 years, bringing a spectacular show with state-of-the art multi-media light and quadrophonic sound to sold-out venues across the country. The legendary showman never ceases to amaze, and his music continues to speak to fans of all ages and from all musical genres. New music from Roger Waters is always an event --- here's a new rock ballad that promises to become an instant classic.

The song is "Lost Boys Calling", it's Waters' newest single, and it's only available on the soundtrack to the new film "The Legend of 1900" starring Tim Roth. "Lost Boys Calling" marks an unprecedented collaboration between Waters, who wrote the lyrics and performs the vocals, legendary film composer Ennio Morricone (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, The Mission), and guitar great Eddie Van Halen, who performs the guitar solos. Waters says "Collaborations with people on movie scores are very rare for me, but they sent me a casette with Morricone playing the piano and singing the melody. It's such a beautiful melody, I wanted to do the song." "The Legend of 1900" soundtrack album also features the full original film score by Ennio Morricone, for which the melody from "Lost Boys Calling" is the main theme.

One of the score's few imperfections is its conclusion on an abrupt and dark note. A score of this caliber deserves a more memorable finale. Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame performs the subtle and poignant end song "Lost Boys Calling." Though Waters' vocals are sincere, he restrains his singing voice and doesnąt hold a note. His lyric-reading is unsettling at first listen, and the song makes a less-than remarkable use of Edward Van Halen's talents at the guitar.

Yeah, it's been in circulation for a few years now. Personally, I think it sucks. There is no showcasing of eds talent in the least. They could have hired me to do it. lol
