One thing that made me like the post-VH albums even more was skipping the title tracks. The song MTM I can't stand. That's where I got the idea. Taking out the title track removes the commercialization IMO. Sounds better.

I can't believe The Space Between festivities are already over...went by so fast.

You know, in a way, Van Halen fucked up THAT, too. Gotta love 'em

I still think The Space Between is a cool album for the most part. Pretty good, not great, batch of tunes on there. Certainly some that I don't seek out, yet a few that I wouldn't hesitate to play at a party or for guests at my place.

I think it's great that they actually did it and put it out! The tour seems to be fun as well, which is really what it's all about. I'll probably pop it in later this afternoon....

Check out the new Classic Rock. A 7 page special on Sammy with interview, and he pretty much, sadly shuts the door on CF.

He said theres too much going on with The Circle. They tried to headline a show in September, but found out Chads playing with the Peppers on that night. Plus basically CF is too hard to find time for.

I admittedly haven’t heard much of CF, but I do follow the discussions you guys have about the band/project. It seems Chad is always the holdup/hang up. Is he that good; that irreplaceable in CF?

I know he’s a good drummer, but I don’t get the feeling he’s AVH/Neil Peart/Copeland good. Do they just like his company? What does he bring to the band that Jason Bonham or Kenny Aronoff wouldn’t?

He looks like Will Ferrell, and that is scientific fact!

not surprising. i feel like he closed the book on them after the 2nd album didn't sell as well as the first which is a major bummer. they put on one hell of a show. i'd love to see them record a few songs, go on a mini tour, and call it a day. i need 1 more show to see of them.

Chad seems like an excellent drummer to me, and is one of the few (like Alex) who is recognizable when you hear him. God is he loud!

It’s a damn shame. CF live was the best live VH derivative post 1995, for me. They were so tight as a band, so chemically on point. The road test Roxy gig in ‘09 is absolutely one of the best gigs I’ve ever seen from any outfit.
