Barf and I really love that song. Here's what I don't understand. Why can't that be tuned down and at least somewhat electrified? It needs keyboards as well. At the very least have Mike playing an acoustic bass instead of twiddling his thumbs.

That's a perfect example of the piss break

I mean, that's a fine rendition, but yeah...not what I want to hear when I go see Sam. Rock it out man.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

The best acoustic-ish stuff from Sam is what he did when he played with Daryl Hall on his TV show. The Van Halen stuff just doesn't sound good acoustically. Just let it go.

Dreams sounds good acoustically. So does Cabo and FWYS. There are many VH songs that could be done acoustically and sound great.

I remember the obscure video for Once, from VH III. The acoustic tracks were at times pushed up in the mix. I dug it for what it was.

Also recall a vid (might've been on another site?) of a shirtless guy playing and singing Dead or Alive in a campfire/trailer type of setting. Cool stuff!

I appreciate that for all his ego, Sam is still grounded enough to get star struck. You see it here with Daltry and I remember quite clearly as well when VH received the MTV award from Jagger.

I disagree with the acoustic notion. I don't think most power rock transfers well.
