    Wow !!!
Just wanted to say "very good job" , bro I loved the video and the tone you got there . I've heard a lot of great things about those Splawn amps ... Checked out a few of the vids on your Youtube page . Very impressed with the Nightrain and Dream Warriors covers . You're a cool player and I will view more of your material later on .

    Cheers from Canada

Thanks for the kind words vhMcG! You can check out Splawns at www.splawnguitars.com

The above vid is just the Nitro with a little bit of reverb from from my pedalboard...nothing else.

I'm running an EVH Frankenstein pickup in the guitar...LOVE that pickup...

I just call 'em like I see/hear 'em ! LOL
Your videos are cool . I've seen a few online clips of Splawn amps , but appreciate the link to their website .

I'm waiting on a new Floyd Rose Special for my blue quilt Sterling AX40 guitar , and have also been thinking about installing an EVH Frankie pickup in the bridge position . They sound very , VERY good
Your 'Little Guitars' clip really got me (pun implied) hooked again on that song . Great stuff . Thanks for posting !

I don't want to take away from your original thread topic ... I'm surprised that more Linkers haven't commented on this performance of yours . It's really well done IMO .

Having said that , and sorry for a derail , but have you A/B-ed the Frankie pickup with the current Wolfgang model that is widely available ? If so , what are your thoughts bro ?

I've seen a few clips of the Frankie that just blow me away ! It has balls when pushed into overdrive , yet also seems to clean up very nicely . I'm sure the Wolf model does too but there's a certain difference that's almost hard to explain . Sorry to keep bothering you , man ! Haha

    you're not bothering me...
I HAVE A/B'd the EVH Frankie pickup and the EVH Wolfgang pickup. Just NOT in the same guitar. But I had an EVH Stealth for a while. It's difficult to describe the 2 in words...both are good pickups...but for me the Frankie is just the perfect EVH tone...and I've tried ALOT of pickups...It's MEAN but cleans up GREAT, like you said. The Wolfgang just sounds a bit too modern to me...where the Frankie is classic brown sound.

That was pretty damn tight, well done.

AWESOME. You captured the vibe and groove just right. I've seen another tribute play that song here and it was good, but you guys killed it. My own VH project is just about ready to book our first full gig and the guys have been nagging me to do this song. But it's gonna take some practice to make it sound like you guys do.

Excellent work on the guitar, and you get bonus points for the hammer guy in the background
