Default "Bad motor scooter" off "Get ya buzz on" dvd....

Watched this dvd today first time in awhile. This is why I want 'em back so bad. Just the tightest rocking unit ever. Chads the meanest and best drummer I've ever heard. Yep, I said it!!! "Bad motor scooter" just displays how they amazing they are. Just rocks!!!!
The ending of "Get it up" with Mike doing the high harmonys from "Immigrant song" just put tingles down your spine.
What is understood need not be discussed

"Dont disturb my paradise. I've asked you once. I've asked you nice" - "SERIOUS JU JU"

"I am in a blissful state. Dont bug me!!!" - Richard Dreyfuss "The Goodbye girl" 1977

I think they are tight as hell. It's cool that they don't lean on music from their past as part of their setlist. Having said that, that's why I always found it out that they played Bad Motor Scooter.

If you aren't going to rely on music from the member's past, then don't.

To me it would have been cool to include three covers on that DVD (some of which they've played live):

    1. Highway Star - the youtube clips of this will melt your face
    2. Foxy Lady - see comments above
    3. Whole Lotta Love

Having said that...if they were going to visit their old stuff, I would love to hear Chickenfoot playing:

    1. Summer Nights (just think it would be a good fit, and sound good with Mike and Sam, like the solo shows that I've seen it at...my guess is Satch handles that better than Vic)
    2. Always with Me, Always with You (Satch solo)...nice break for the rest of the band, and just a beautiful piece of music
    3. Warped (RHCP)
The Barn Burned Down, Now I can See the Moon

Chickenfoot rocks, brothers and sisters. A CF show equals quality musical and lyrical performances of fantastic songs.

He mentioned that in an interview once about why they played that. Something about Montrose being so long ago that he feels kinda detached from it in a way ....like those songs are just like the other classic rock songs they played. I don't remember exactly what he said, but the message was something like that.
