    Default I said I wouldn't but I did...NGD

So, I said I wouldn't buy another one of these USA EVH wolfgangs but I decided to give it another shot(plus I got a great deal) Now, there's no denying that these new wolfs play amazing because they do, and they sound good. The problem is the cheap hardware and the crazy price they charge new. IMO, any guitar over $2k with an original floyd should have a german floyd, not the korean version. I don't care if all the manufacturers "say" its to the same spec as the german, if it was it wouldn't be cheaper for them to use. There is also plenty of articles on how Ed was destroying them and decided to replace it with a german floyd. For a $3k guitar to come with a korean floyd with a steel block is a little ridiculous. Thats one of my only gripes with these because like I said, they play good. That and the cheap evh branded tuners but thats more of a cosmetic thing. I'm going to replace the floyd with an original and brass block which should improve it quite a bit.
Looks like the previous owner of this one didn't play it,could pass for new. All in all, a good playing guitar that with a few small improvements can be a great guitar

Nice! Congrats! I have the same guitar. Bought it to be my new number one. Last time I got a fret job the guitar didn't feel the same after. I figured the USA Stealth with ss frets would solve that problem for a very long time.

Nice man! I have the USA stealth, but the hardtail version. It's a great guitar. And getting it for a great price is always a bonus.

I had a USA Stealth, but the frets were just too small, and I couldn't get used to them (and I didn't want to refret it). So I traded it for a Soldano SLO.

That's my beef with Ed's Wolfgang line too . He used jumbo frets in the past . I never 'got' why he switched to small ones - starting with the EBMM ?

I get that too. A lot of companies seemed to have gone that way... even on acoustics which confuses the hell out of me. I love big big frets in general. I guess with the stainless, you can get away with it more in terms of wear, but I just think bigger frets do a better job at vibration transmission, and increasing sustain. I've never used stainless to any great length...what's your guys take on them? Do they sound as good or better that good ol' nickel/silver?

I agree with Eddy V. I can't hear any difference with ss frets. And I'm pretty picky. I can hear a difference between cables and refuse to use certain effects that claim to be true bypass, but definitely color my sound. I also like the slippery feel of ss fret.
