Don't know if this was here before but I think it's pretty interesting.

This circulated as a bootleg for a while. I have it on CD somewhere. Not a fan of that keyboard driven vibe, but it WAS the 80s.

That sucked. It sounds like it was written for an episode of Miami Vice. Still not as bad as Feels So Good.

    Here's a question though..
If you like this song, which version do you like better - the OU812 version (original) or the live version as heard on Live RHRN?

I always like the heavier version of the song with electric distortion and cymbals...but I understand and appreciate the effort of the original joint.

For that particular tune. Live smoked the album version.

Live was much better. one of the few times I thought a live version of a VH song was better than the album version.

    This is a remix version.
It may have been a 12 inch but can't remember.

They did release a "Finish what ya started" REMIX on cassette but it was not this.
I have the tape sitting right here.
I'll go play it in the car and report back but i seem to recall the remix cassette doesn't sound any different than the album version.

    Ok back!

Yeah the "Finish what ya started" REMIX on cassette sounds like the album version to me.
    Don't notice anything different.

The album version was neat to hear , a different flavor if you will . The live version was just plain rockin' . I liked the improvised solo's and the crowd banter that Sam did . I'd vote for RHRN's version .

Downloaded this off Napster, so I'm showing my age here. Hated it 14 years ago, and I hate it now.
