    Default Oscar-Winner McQueen Name-Checks VH

McQueen could barely contain his excitement as he jumped up and down on stage after his speech.

“Sometimes our emotions and physicality takes over. You know, Van Halen,” McQueen said of his jumping on stage.

"Might as well Jump". He's excited, he's "in the moment". Van Halen's music, makes one act a fool!

Not that it matters, but on a newscast this morning I thought I heard him say that he was excited followed by, "You know, jump. Van Halen."

    As in, "Might as well..."

You know, Van Halen,” McQueen said of his jumping on stage.
In other words, after his acceptance speech, he gave more thought to Van Halen than to John Ridley.

Yeah, it seems very obvious what he means.

If I didn't know better, I'd think he was referring to that song "Jump" by Van Halen!

Hmmmph. He should've gone with The Pointer Sisters, then he could have referred to "Jump" and being "So Excited". Missed a trick there, methinks!

Doesn't anyone find it weird that the version of "Jump" with the most view on youtube is the Toronto pay-per-view from 1995, with Sammy singing? It has 4.5 million views.

DLR-sang "Jump" is not even close, with 600,000 views.

    Odd.

    Odd.
That is a big difference... Panama leads them all at nearly 5.9 million views. The actual Jump video is on there several times with the most-viewed version at just under 1.5 million. Jump live in Greensboro is over 1.2 million views.
