Default EVH Striped Series Serial Number Question

This might seem like asking a ridiculous question, but what is a high serial number as opposed to a low serial number for the EVH Striped Series? I have a white/black #01328. Is this a low or high serial number? I read here on the forum of another member who has b/w #49, obviously I know that is very low, but I'm wondering what numbers the serial numbers have reached at present, so that I can get an idea of how low mine is! What serial number is yours?

Low serial numbers will never be significant with the striped series. Mass produced in mexico and all the same and they are in the millions now if you check your local guitar center.

Pretty sure the newer ones have added a year into the serial number. So they start with EVH13 followed by 5 digits.

For example on EBay right now I see EVH1303130. I believe that means it was the 3,130th guitar made in the year 2013.

The first batch didn't have that, and had EVH followed by 5 digits. Mine is EVH00032 for example.

Played a B/W one today at the Las Vegas Guitar Center (my local one never has any in stock) and I was impressed. Nice action, gorgeous unfinished neck, all around solid axe. Reminded me of my old Charvel San Dimas that I unfortunately sold a while back (smacks forehead again). And yes, the serial number started with EVH13, so that's apparently what they're stamping now.

I played them back to back at GC. R/w/b EVH Stripe Series and Y/b Charvel Art Series. New Stripe Series blew the Charvel away. Neck, playability, tone. The Charvel was heavier and felt lifeless. I played a Charvel when they first came out. Instead of buying one I built a Kramer 5150 copy. Guess my opinion hasn't changed, I don't like them.

I have the #49 mentioned. Wanted a lower number. 13 would have been good. I don't think these will be worth much down the road. But who knows? I think the first ten are the ones to have for collectors. Those go to Ed and Fender execs. Or first 100 are collectible? Maybe as the Charvels dry up the new Stripe Series will be in demand someday. Maybe I'm right and it's a better guitar that will be more desireable. Only thing to do is put it under your bed and wait. My Pat Pending PV Wolfgang Archtop is finally worth the $1300 I paid. It's under the bed and doesn't get any more mint than that guitar. I thought it would be worth more by now.

I'd like to know how they date the new Wolfgangs and when production started on the USA Stealths. Pretty sure I have a very early production one. No one had them and I was told might ship in a month. Shipped in a week. Has overspray all over the binding. Especially the headstock. And the Nut has a shim behind. Oh, and the toggle switch cut out from day one. A EVH dealer said it might have slipped through and maybe shouldn't have shipped. Offered a straight swap for another one. I'll keep the one I've got. Might be worth something someday. Probably not though...

I just got a slammin deal on the Bumble Bee from Musicians Friend 760.00 shipped with overnight shipping. Anything I should know as far as tremolo issues? Or D tuna issues? I will probably take the D tuna off anyway. But any insight would be great.

I have a bumblebee, I took the Dtuna off mine when I got it. No issues at all, stays in perfect tune. My father ordered the RWB one and it was terrible, the neck pocket was cut wrong and the neck was at an angle that you would swear that it had a shim under it, but there wasn't. Due to this flaw the floyd could only be set up to float about 1/2 an inch off the body.

The "stock" pick-up in the SS is the EVH Wolfgang.

I'm pretty sure it's painted on. I have 2 and they look painted.
