NEW VAN HALEN TRIBUTE BAND FEATURES 3 ORIGINAL MEMBERS
The groups nanny/gopher/chauffer Micheal Anthony spearheads the tribute band "Eddie and Alex kept talking in the studio and romanticizing the old days when we were together. Why not go back and learn to play the songs by the Van Halen band ? We could get some singer who could do reasonable imitation of a lead vocalist and maybe people will come see us". There was a great deal of argument as to what to call the tribute band. Early favorites included "danish Polka Madness, Jamies Really Cryin Now, Van Halen Revisited, or I Cant Believe Its Not Van Halen. So they decided on Mach 4 The members of the new group briefly flirted with the idea of reforming with original singer David Lee Roth. However this idea was rejected as soon as Eddie realized that members of the band might have "fun" Instead the singer of the band was chosen for forthright obedience and apparent lack of any sign of a personality. He could then easily take on the style of Dave, Sammy or Gary as the song required

You know, I just have to say that attention grabbing titles like this really tweek my beak when they have ZERO to do with what the title makes them look like. Appearently, 1100 other people (at the moment)were tricked into reading this for nothing near what they would have liked to see with that title.
