    Default 40 Below

It's rather cold outside tonight. On the way home "40 below" came on my iPod (over 1,500 songs on it). Coincidence? Fate? Perhaps.

Definitely not his greatest, but not his worst.

    Right here I say....

    Here is another good one.

Here is a link to an old Guitar Player interview by Jas Obrecht with Jason Becker.

I actually like 40 Below, and...(guilty pleasure)...Hammerhead Shark. There, I said it. I am contemplating therapy for it, but as of now, it is one of my favorites off that disc.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Define "cold" in Orlando? ... (said the guy in Milwaukee).

Hammerhead Shark is one of Dave's best. I really think the production just wasn't that great on any of his albums, except for EEAS.

No word of a lie - I played that entire cd last night . That was before I even read this thread !

A Little Ain't Enough is a really good album IMO . I may have "borrowed" the basic feel and vibe of Tell the Truth , for one of my own originals ...

"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - a very wise fan.

    ha. I just noticed that.

I moved from Orlando 8 years ago, never updated my account. It was -7 degrees when I wrote that.

I've seen that before, and outside of the overall vibe of the two songs (which is a very common and simple progression), I really don't see the similarity.

    LOL
I used to hear that a few times ...
