Like them or hate them, they exist...

Who's your favorite local tribute band??

I saw this band called Zoso and they have to be the best Zep tribute on Earth. I saw them in Pittsburgh, but they are a national act. The look, the sound--as close as humanly possible. Un-fucking-real. The Atomic Punks of Led Zeppelin for sure.

This band is not "local" as in a nearby town, but they are California-based, so close enough, right?

They are pretty solid, put on a decent show, and some of them aren't too hard on the eyes..

blah blah blah Devin Townsend blah blah blah

I actually saw the lead singer and bass player when they were in an Iron Maiden tribute band called "Wrathchild" back in 2000 at the Anaheim House of Blues. They were one of the opening acts for "The Atomic Punks" that night. The "Iron Maidens" were formed in 2001. That night was the first time I saw "The Atomic Punks" and I remember being completely blown away by how good they were, especially Brian Young on lead guitar and Ralph Saenz on lead vocals.

DAMN! Sounds as good as Maiden (and certainly looks better)

    I need to catch them!
