Default Shy Boy Video from VHND

VHND put up a cool video of Shy Boy...

I've never been a huge fan of the song, but I think the video is cool...

That is a good one. I posted it a while ago somewhere. The Skyscraper footage is from a Japan 1988 special by Toshiba.

Here is another pretty good fan made video for The Full Bug. I suscribed to this channel. The owner, " Justin Sane " has quite a few other good ones.

Everytime I see Billy in a instrumental show he plays Shy Boy.

Wow, he did a great job with that. Syncing DLR's mouth from other songs to this one was probably a painstaking task.

As for Shyboy, it's a damn impressive song for all involved, I just think if the chorus had been given a little more work, it would have been a really good song, but the chorus to me is annoying.

Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I haven't seen pro shot video like that from DLR's Skyscraper Tour, wonder where that is hiding and why it wasn't released.

And before everyone jumps on it, I have bootlegs from that tour, DLR was in good voice.

His voice was still in great shape for the EEAS tour and the Skyscraper tour, I saw both, and he still had all of his CVH vocal tricks intact. It was slowly downhill from there, except for the 2007 portion of the VH tour when he had his reputation to reclaim. I didn't realize it at the time, but yes by the 2008 portion of that tour he began to get a bit fast and loose with things. He still sounded quite good though. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2007 and 2008 shows I attended, well apart from Ed's shortcomings in 2007. Ed certainly pulled his shit together by that last 2008 leg after the "mystery ailment". Unfortunately by 2012 Dave was in his "I'll sing each song however I want to" mode, so it was hit or miss. DTNA, come on Dave you're killing us... but WIL he sounded super! He sounded great overall at the live shows I attended on that tour, where you are getting blasted on the floor by the full mix. His vocals didn't translate very well to many youtube recordings however. Seemed way out in front of the mix which showed any shortcomings that were masked live. Dave sounded pretty good on the 2013 shows, like he had consciously decided to reign in some of the upper register stuff, but no longer seemed to have command of his "Wow!" screams. Listen to some of his screams on Romeo Delight from the New Orleans 2012 show, and his great vocals in general (last show of that tour). Seems like we'll never get a modern era tour where everyone is firing on all cylinders! Can't really complain though since after '98 and especially after '04 I thought the final nail was in the coffin.

Anyway, back to this Shy Boy video, great job on matching up some of the guitar and bass performances to the studio version! That had to be very time consuming.

I saw that tour in Reno with Poison opening. Dave was amazing. I would love to see a pro-shot show from that tour.

    Very cool !
I'd also like some pro-shot material from Dave's solo career . He was on a roll for a while , and put out some good stuff .
