Default "When It's Love" 2004 Proshot

Stumbled across this. The video is proshot, my guess is that it is the video feed for the screen behind the band. Unfortunately the sound isn't that great.

Any musicians near Boston / Cape Cod want to get together and play some VH? I play drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, and I sing. I want to start a VH tribute band. Contact me if interested.

It's not proshot. It's a guy filming the big screen. I have the whole show on DVD. Some big tension between Ed and Sam in this.

I have the Buffalo show. Early in the tour, seems were more peaceful. When It's Love sucks as a concert closer; I prefer Jump, Panama, or Right Now.
I don't have a cool signature. Deal with it!

Time for me to never watch any video from the 2004 tour ever again.

But....like a car wreck....I just might catch a glimpse now and then.

I don't remember them closing with When It's Love, but I was so bitter about the $130 I just wasted that I might not have noticed.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I was so disgusted with the three new songs from 2004, that I just skipped that tour. I obviously made a wise decision ...

I was at both of those NJ shows & I don't remember it either. Nor do I remember Ed in Devils t-shirt, which I would have thought I would recall because it would have nauseated me. Maybe Ed wasn't the only one who was a mess for those shows

I saw them on opening night in Greensboro, NC and twice more on the tour. Three of the four gave fans a real treat. Unfortunately, the main ingredient went from mediocre, to bad, to down right ugly. In all of the years and shows from 1980 forward, I had never seen Eddie look so bad or play so poorly. He butchered so many songs and his solo was mostly noise. Had he been the healthy and sober Eddie of today, that tour could have really been a great one.

You can see and feel the tension watching this. First verse " wben things get outta control " Sam points to Edward .

I think they closed all their shows with When It's Love in 2004.

I think Ed is mostly to blame for the way things went, because of the shape he was in...but you just get the feeling that after awhile, Sam's ego was not going to let any shit go. In the past, maybe Ed's moods were tolerated. I think in 2004, Sammy wasn't pulling any punches. It comes across that way in his book too.

We really need a list of the WORST Live songs performances from the 2004 tour.

Any suggestions? What is the worst LIVe VH video you have seen on youtube from 2004?

How about the Guitar solo from Las Vegas 2004.

That's from 2007, bud. But highly reminiscent of the 2004 solo spots Ed graced our ears with. He was ripped in Vegas that night.

NYE in Vegas? For a recently recovered alcoholic? Sounds like a great idea.....

That is funny. Sam is like, "no, that's probably a bad idea buddy."
