Default Thoughts on under rated hagar tunes

I've been kind of thinking of doing a thread of the most under rated early hagar tunes (montrose, capital era hagar tunes) and was wondering if you guys were asked to get a list together what would be on it. You can list as many tunes as you want, I haven't gotten very far but I know for sure I'd put:

    Connection
    I Got the Fire

from the 2nd montrose disk on any list, those are GREAT songs (hell, I got the fire might be in my top 10 all time hagar tunes).

I have to look at some track listings and stuff cause i haven't looked at the capital era stuff in awhile, I have stuff I listen to but havent' gone beyond that as of late.

I love that song if for no other reason than Sammy’s voice is so crisp. To my ears, he peaked vocally between VOA and 5150.

I think because his older catalogue isn’t well known to many people, that any song from that period could be considered an underrated tune so I will choose “This Planet’s on Fire”.

Dick in the Dirt is my favorite Hagar tune. I love the production on that song.

Straight out of my head, I would have also chosen "I Got the Fire". I'll think about more later.

Perhaps also "Buying my way into heaven". Don't know why, but from the two new tunes on "unboxed", "High Hopes" always get the praise and the air time.

I Got the Fire flat out rocks. I also liked Spaceage Sacrifice from that Montrose album. I think the entire Marching to Mars album is underrated, as is The Returning of the Wish from Red Voodoo.

Swept Away might be the most under appreciated song in Sam's entire catalog. That song is brilliant.
