LOL. I watched 4 episodes of that back to back last night.

Thinking about going and picking up some pork belly today...
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Even with all that, I forgot how great this show is. A great mix of comedy, drama and everything in between.

What a great show...they lost me at the end of the series...but the Fireman’s barbershop quartet, Franco’s Cocking needind got me be cut off, the crazy uncle, and the season he was being visited by Jesus...comedy gold.

That was when FX had Rescue Me & The Sheild running at the same time.

I've q'd up pork belly before. You have to render it right or it is a fucking mess, but if done right it is damn delicious.

Are any of you watching The Kids Are Alright on Tuesday nights on ABC? Best show on regular TV, hands down.

True Detective has been a nice return to form. Mahershala Ali is killing it playing himself in his prime, middle aged, and elderly, as the story unfolds across three time lines stretching decades.

Yeah just imagine this playing on todays TV. That was FX's golden era. Shield with Rescue Me which then was replaced by early Sons and Justfied

    Castle Rock

    Finished all ten episodes yesterday.

I really liked the episode where Ruth is placing her chess pieces and going back an forth in time (in her mind). Very well done. Got a lot of info out of that one.

Another favorite was the second from last episode, where we learn who the Kid really is. His situation becomes so heartbreaking and devastating once we find out where he came from and where he ends up in the end.

Great series but really complicated at times. There absolutely MUST be a second season if we are to ever know what the fuck is going on out there in the woods... inside of that space and time thing-a-ma-bob.

    Marvels Runaways

Watched episode one and it was OK I guess... but then I found every season of Adventure Time was on hulu also and was quickly distracted away for the next two hours.

Loves me some adventures of Jake the dog and Finn the human. Can't believe I've got all 283 episodes at my fingertips... Muahahaha!

If you have not watched Barry on HBO you should. It's brilliant and darkly funny. Winkler deserved the Emmy. and a second season is coming this spring so ya better catch up

Also Lodge 49 has not been talked about much on here...I think I mentioned it but no one else seemed to watch it. It is really good

    Doom Patrol

Great first episode. They did a nice job with introducing us to most of the characters.

The causes of Larry and Rita's afflictions are pretty vague, but that should all be fleshed out as the series moves forward.

Crazy Jane is so complicated in the books that it's going to take a while for newcomers to understand her. In print, you are able to read the inner dialog happening with her and all of her separate personalities. Hopefully the world inside her head where they all coexist in one place will eventually be featured.

No origin for the Chief yet, and Cyborg wasn't featured.

I was most impressed with Cliff Steele/Robotman. He comes off as a very human man (brain) trapped in a mechanical body. Even though his mouth doesn't move, they somehow do a fantastic job conveying a lot of emotion from his red robot eyes.

I'll be keeping a sharp eye out for Danny The Street... but I seem to recall Doom Mansion being located on Danny Street in the Titans episode, so maybe he (it) is already there.

    The Umbrella Academy

Great companion series to Doom Patrol in that it deals with an oddball group of individuals with special abilities, brought together by a slightly mad father figure.

Binged watched the entire ten episodes yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it, out side of maybe the final episode which spent way too much time on the only character I grew to dislike... somewhere around episode 5. (Hint: she plays the violin.)

Very impressed with how they pulled off Pogo, the chimpanzee butler. Not sure if it was CGI, prosthetic costuming or both... but it was flawless and he is a character for the ages.

I've been reading that it's going to be a long wait if there is a season two... but with the concept they have built here, the series can go literally anywhere it wants regardless of what happened this season.

Started watching New Girl from the beginning on Netflix. I don't think I ever saw the first couple of seasons.
