Awesome stat at the vhnd. It says VH is tied for 3rd ALL TIME with the number of multi-platinum albums behind Beatles and Elvis!

    That's Fucking Awesome!

Yeah, I saw that, it's great to see. If Garth Brooks actually retires after his next album, and VH puts out a few albums, our boys could hold the number 3 spot all by themselves.

Garth's original reason for retirement was to spend more time with his family. Now that he and Mrs. Brooks have split up, he might reconsider the retirement.

That's fine with me, Garth puts on one Hell of a concert, and he does it for about 1/3 of the ticket price everyone else is charging.

Somewhat of a related subject. Anyone know how many copies of VH-3 has been sold since its release? It was at about 550,000 last year at this time. Just curious with all of the recent pub. I wonder if there is a place on the net that tallies that sort of stuff up??

Wolfdog- The Recording Industry Association of America tallies album sales. Otherwise known as RIAA. You can go to 'riaa.com' and search the database.

For those of you scoring at home, the boys have 12 multi-platinum albums (albums w/ 2 million + in sales)

    Hey, I was just thinking...

(And, yes, it still hurts to do so... )

If for some reason things shouldn't work out with Dave (at this point I think I should make it crystal clear that I'm joking ) and Garth decides not to hang up the ten-gallon hat...

Garth could be the lead singer for VH.

(Imagine how many records VH would sell THEN! LOL.)

Man, I always wanted to hear "Mean Street" with a twang.

A little twang on Mean Sreet isn't all that bad. Why am I saying this? I have no idea. Out.
