I actually really liked the first one.

    Had a great cast.

Edit: I think it looks like a fun movie, but I am much less critical of movies than you are my friend.

Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

I'm actually only critical from the general movie goers POV. I'm not a foreign movie snob or anything like that. Two of my favorite movies are Die Hard and T2 for instance. Even dumb action movies like Face off, Eraser and True Lies.

I like plenty of dumb stuff. I'm not even saying the first one as bad, but I have my doubts here... And after the last Die Hard movie I just think Bruce is cashing in on whatever he can now.

And why shouldnt he. He is playing what people like me want to see. New Die Hard's, Expendables, this...that's what I like to see Bruce in. Not to say I wouldn't like him in a modern Moonlighting reboot or something, but Bruce is an action hero...play it up, sells good and for silly action flicks...can't go wrong. If Jason Staham can get away with the insanity that is his movies (which i like by the way, they are just nonsense) then I give Bruce 2 thumbs up

The difference is that he has wrecked his own franchise now in some peoples eyes. He did go wrong with the latest Die Hard it appears. I can go by the decline in box office returns, rottentomatoes meter, opinions from people I've heard, reviews on amazon, etc....
