    Default Quick wiring question

If I do not want a tone control at all
Would I wire a resistor and capacitor in to mimic the fully closed pot of just bypass it altogether?

Just bypass it altogether. It'll be a tad bit brighter than a fully open pot.

Pretend it doesn't exist. Don't wire it or any capacitor. Unsolder it and forget it. Duncan site I think has schematics to wire pickups. I think I used them to put my first pickup in. No tone knob.

Thx it's for a build hopefully so not unwiring

Think I had it backward though. I thought increased resistance allowed
More low end to pass to ground thru the filter

Increased resistance does exactly that: it increasingly resists the low end passing to ground.
