Default Interesting Stay Frost backing track

Hey all, I am a piano player and I used to record midi files (muting piano track) from a decent multi timbral synth that I could play piano along with, bass drums that type of thing. Still, it was a midi and the sounds was so so. I found this site that is a similar deal but the tracks are actual recordings of people playing instruments (in most cases). You can still mix volume levels and mute tracks as you wish to record the result but the quality is 100 times better. Anywho, they have a couple VH tracks and I noticed Stay Frosty is on there now. I thought the session dude, whoever that is, did a pretty good job of nailing it. Was just curious your thoughts on the solo, as that is most of the preview they give you, thanks!

That was cool, I took out the lead guitar and it was cool.
But then had the vocals and lead alone and it was even cooler.
Pretty damn good playing by whoever it was.

Yea, I just tried it the way you mixed it but also unmuted acoustic guitar. was pretty cool. the only thing he duffs is right at end of solo where vocals come back, he doesn't get that one riff right where it has lowish then real high note couple times, right at end of solo. other than that, is awesome!

    Great website. Thanks!

Always hard to find backing tracks for Van Halen... I mean, the songs that are not "classics". Maybe some of them will show up there in some time and I would be happy to buy.

Just found a nice "Runaround" one luckily (was looking for it for years). Now I still need one for "Dirty Water Dog", but this one is going to be 100% impossibe to find. I also gave up on looking for one for "Take Me Back".

He missed a few pinched harmonics as well, but that's pretty fantastic playing.

I know a guy who plays live as a solo cover act at beach bars, just vocals and guitar, and he uses those for his backing band.

And yes, I know he isn't supposed to.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I'd have to ask him. He plays more 60's/70's classic rock fare, so he has an even older target market than us, he probably would have no idea what I am talking about, but I'll ask.

You aren't supposed to do that? I've flirting with the idea. Seems like a cool way to make extra money outside the band.
