    Sure it was a train wreck. BUT it was glorious....... So many moments (good and bad) that are still talked about here even 30 years later.

    Also way back when in the VCR days this (US Fest 83) was the bootleg to have. Must have watched it a million times along with Montreal 84 and Largo 82.

    Lol, "only," right? I remember both figures being thrown around, but I also remember Dave being extremely effed-up on at least one "thing." Still iconic, though, and there were certainly some HIGHlights from that concert.

    Apparently, one of the reasons Stevie Ray Vaughan left Bowies band was because of this gig. SRV was pissed that Bowie was being paid $1.5 but was only paying his band a couple grand, if that.
