Default dream band of dead musicians

Ok, here is a random conversation that my buddies and I started... If you could create a band using exclusively musicians that've died... Who would it be/ include???

    My list:
    - Bon Scott
    - Keith Moon
    - Hendrix

Apparently, Bass players live better lives so (thankfully) there aren't too many of those...
    - Dee Dee Ramone
    - Paul McCartney
Winners come and go; legends are forever.

I like the suggestion of Scott/Hendrix/Moon. That's pretty wicked.

Couldn't put SRV with anyone. He was a legend in his own right.

    Buckley on rhythm... Nice.

Freddie Mercury is another stellar lead vocal... Him, Delp or Bon Scot... Each are so awesome I their own right

Great choice. Maybe even add Rick Wright on keys.
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth
