Default Boy texts, "I killed Mom" to Father.

More evidence that the human race is truly headed for a raw sewage plant somewhere. Can't imagine being the Father to this fucked up little devil's incarnate.

CLARION, IA. — A text message from an Osage teenager expressing remorse for fatally shooting his mother was originally thought to be a joke, the boy’s father testified Friday during his son’s murder trial.

William Crooks, 41, testified in Wright County District Court in Clarion about receiving a text message from his son, Noah Crooks, on the night of March 24, 2012, that read, “Dad this is Noah. I killed Mom accidentally. I regret it. Come home now please.”

William Crooks, who was away that night from the family’s rural home in Osage, said he thought Noah was joking, so he replied, “OK. Just throw her in the grove. We’ll take care of her later.”

Mitchell County Deputy Jeff Huftalin later called the older Crooks and told him there had been an accident.

Noah Crooks, 14, faces charges of first-degree murder and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse for the death of Gretchen Crooks, 37. He was 13 at the time of the death and is being tried as a youthful offender. That means he may stay under the supervision of the judicial system past his 18th birthday.

There also was testimony Friday about the alleged murder weapon, a .22-caliber Ruger that Gretchen Crooks bought for Noah in 2010.

William Crooks said his wife was the disciplinarian of the family, which led to some fights between his wife and son. He said Noah had a loving but sometimes stormy relationship with his mother.

“They’d have their issues but then the next minute they’d play games together,” he said.

William Crooks said his son once told him he wanted to kill his mother, but he didn’t take it seriously.

“I guess I didn’t take it as a threat at the time,” he said.

    From the Daily News:

On Wednesday, the prosecution played a recording of the 10-minute 911 call Noah Crooks made, during which he admitted to shooting his mother more than 20 times and trying to rape her

Trash is trash, people. This stuff has happened since we were living in caves and it will always happen. Don't concern yourself with it and just worry about your own life and your own family.

If you have nothing nice to say about Eddie Van Halen, you're at the right website. - Me (A few years ago)

"People take Van Halen much more seriously than we do" - David Lee Roth (1980's)

"I don't sit on the end of your bed while you're trying to make a living" - David Lee Roth (1988)

"For some reason people love to complain about everything. The internet has made it easy for people to do that. Shut the fuck up and get a life, or show me how good you can do it."- Edward Van Halen

"A lot of people ask me which Van Halen singer was better. You can't compare them. It's like asking which guitarist is better. Nobody is better than anybody. Every player is their own person."-Edward Van Halen

"I do like Eddie Van Halen as a player. He gets it right quite often." -Paul McCartney

This happened about an hour from here. Sounds like the kid is "out there." Had a lot of neurological issues that would have him normal & loving for a while, then he'd go in to another world.

In a bizarre twist in, my wife went out with the dad in High School and graduated with his mom.

They found him guilty of 2nd degree murder. Not guilty of the sexual abuse of a corpse charge. His lawyer wanted Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. The jury deliberated almost 19 hours, almost came back hung twice.

He's remanded to the juvenile prison until he's 18. At that time he'll be re-evaluated to see if adult prison time is warranted, hospitalization in a state hospital or outright release will be granted.

Sad story all the way around.
