From the news/gossip section.

"And this is from an upcoming 20 Questions with David Lee Roth drummer Ray Luzier. He says he, "just finished a wacky video/movie DVD with DLR, that he created called "Diamond Dave's No Holds Bar-B-Que." Go get a copy when it comes out- worth the $! We're rehearsing for a tour this summer." Ray's 20 Questions will go up sometime in March. You can also see Ray drum his balls off in a little band called Metal Shop performing this Saturday, March 2nd, at Paladino's. Oh yea, that'll be our Metal Sludge Extravaganza #4."

Two weeks ago this would have been a two pager already, where's the love for Diamond Dave??

Though it's obviously only a short quote, it's interesting that the DVD and tour got mentioned, but not the album.

I'm very interested to see what direction Dave is planning to take with his road show. I hope I'm wrong, but I have a hunch it's going to be Halen o' plenty again.

I can only imagine how 'wacky' this video is going to be. If it's anything like his videos from 'Crazy From The Heat', it'll be funny.

I am looking forward to both the DVD, and the summer tour. I just hope he makes his way thru the midwest. Would love to see him perform again.

I hope he is playing a similar set of Halen tunes.

Here's a couple of scenes from the video:

Dave hopscotches down 5th avenue to his rendition of 'Ace of Bases' "I Saw the Sign"

Dave on a swing set at an elementary school backed by his version of the 'Sesame Street' theme song - technocized.

Dave flexing in front of a mirror, while lip synching to his version of 'What a Man' by 'En Vogue'.

There will be many more surprises, involving an acapella version of "Look at All the People Here Tonite" and a behind-the-scenes making of his martial arts scene to the music of "Crablouse".

    Personally, I can't wait!

"Keep honking buddy. I'm reloading..." -The Mard

    "......HEY!.............alright............." -BIG FOOT

" I know what you're thinking: "Do I want to watch Mard? We know that horses were very strong and could actually stop airplanes from flying away. The ones made out of stone called "statues" -- occasionally came to life and rode off is a colonial cliche. How many more times do we need to hear about how the oppressive Raj's wore villainous black capes, crafted cunning plastic masks to impersonate people, and drained all the blood from their slaves so they could keep the fluid in bottles in their dungeons? I mean, YAWN!

But if you're willing to sit through this dry sort of historical drama one more time -- or even just this dry historical review -- you will not be disappointed. In fact, some of you might just learn something they didn't teach you in school!-

I'm just hoping he makes it to So. Cal. Doesn't like like we're going to see VH, in any incarnation, any time soon.

I hope you're right. Those are my favorite Dave songs anyway. Personally I hope it's 90% Halen, 10% solo Dave.

I'll be there either way if he comes close to here again like last year.

Yeah I'm willing to bet if Dave tours it'll simply be an extension of last year's Save the Day tour.

But I'll take that over music similar to his crap-ass video.
