    Think about what your asking.

I have zeppelin's early days on vinyl, and it has, IMO, the best sound of any media source if you ignore the slight hiss and pops. It sounds SOO much better than cd audio. I also want the latter days on vinyl, too. I love how vinyl sounds.

I have "F.U.C.K." on vinyl, and it sounds far and away better than the CD.

Good luck finding a copy. I found mine in Australia, still in the shrink wrap. I had its value enhanced a wee bit when Mike signed it for me on Cinco de Mayo a few weeks ago.

Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

kids today dont know what theyre missing not having vinyl.
You just get a crude imitation of the real sound with cds.
Thats why vinyl hasnt died because it sounds so much better than anything else musically.
Sure you got the hiss and imperfections, but the music itself is MUCH better.

I think Americans got suckered on the cd thing. An LP may have a pop or hiss from time to time but cd don't do much better. Hell, I'm sure I have a thousand dollars worth of cd that are useless now because of all the scratches some of which you can't even see and the music quality isn't even close on cd. I remember one of the first selling point of cd's--- they don't scratch as easy. Right!!! I still have many of my (an older bro's) albums but I just don't have a way to play them. The last time I did most of still sounded great, better than any cd will sound with heavy use 25 years later and that is if the damn thing doesn't just start to degrade into nothing.

Even with all that-- the biggest loss with the cd is album artwork. Artwork on the 60's 70's and early 80's albums was incredible and are collector's items. Could anyone care less about that glossy insert in the plastic case that comes with a cd. Not to mention the wealth of infomation you would get in a double album. Ohhhh the good ol' days. Most of the time progress is good but sometimes it just sucks.
