Not sure why there is a 35th anniversary Wah wah??? I dont remember the R/B/W color scheme in '78 either.... They do look awesome, though. Probaly the colors they should of been released the first time.... Unfortunately, I've already got the 3 originals & I dont need back ups of them...

Makes you wonder what other 35th anniversary stuff will be released. I reckon the VH1 guitar will happen. Hopefully, they will do something for the album.. Some footage from that era would be insane....

Next will be replicas of Jan Van Halen's clarinet that he played on Diver Down.

If I could get them for 1978 prices I'd be in.

When I see one of those old guys from that garage band in the Cialis commercials using Ed's shit then I will buy it and I cannot even play.

$90 more for a different paint job... I don't think so. The regular models are all over-priced to begin with.

You can pick up a regular MXR Phase 90 for $80. Why pay $50 more for Ed's regular model and $140 for the same thing with different paint. The sound isn't that significantly different even with the EVH button...

It would be more commercially viable if they released a new pedal to commemorate the 35 years of VH1, such as en Echo unit that could resemble the tape echo of the first album... I know how hard it is to replicate that, but c'mon, it wouldn't be that bad. After all, it is the first album anniversary we are celebrating!

There's no EVH button on the Phase 90. It just has both block logo and script logo sounds, and that is worth getting the EVH model for IMO, to have both pedals.

Oh, maybe it makes sense to release only stuff that Eddie is currently using... so they could have done a signature chorus pedal now that he has one on his pedalboard... anyway, they should definetly have a project for a new product (maybe they do).

It's been a lot of time since the last pedal (wah) was released and VH is more active as of now and probably nex year! Look at all the new guitar stuff from the EVH/Fender brand coming out!

I wouldn't buy any since I'm happy with my VH-like early 90's gear, but probably a lot of people are looking forward to this new stuff...

I wonder if Eddie had any idea what kind of return on investment he would eventually get out of those red, black and white cans of schwinn bicycle paint.

Best business decision he ever made.
