    Default VH 2013 Australia

Saw this over at the Army
    http://musicfeeds.com.au/news/van-ha...-looks-likely/

Going to go out on a limb and say this may be the most talked about paragraph

Rumours are also flying that the tour will feature both of the band’s frontmen from across their lengthy career – David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. Hagar replaced David Lee Roth as vocalist in 1985, before parting ways with the band in 1996. Hagar then rejoined the group for two years in 2003 to tour a best-of record.

Heard about this on the radio here in Melbourne earlier today.
My workmates have been asking me how it's going to work with both Dave and Sam?
I've simply just told them it's not going to happen, the tour with Dave might though considering they are hitting Japan in June.

If and it's a BIG IF they were to tour with both singers, why only Australia?

Hmmmmm...very interesting. Check out the look on Mike's face when he says he and Sam are doing something this summer that he doesn't want to get into. The look of not wanting to give away a secret if you ask me. May be reading too much into it though.

If this were to be true...I have a hard time thinking Dave is 100% in support of this. Of course the money could be huge for this and he might not want to turn down a huge paycheck and he has toured with Sam before so I guess it's not out of the question. I don't think Dave has any ill will with Mike.

Still while a Dave/Sam/Mike with Van Halen tour would be very cool and would no doubt be one of the top tours of the year...I would hate for this to cancel plans of releasing more VH tunes with Dave that are supposed to be done. I was hoping for a follow up to ADKOT. All I see with a Dave/Sam combined tour is another Greatest Hits release like Best of Both Worlds to hype the tour with maybe one or two new songs if we are lucky. Plus the ticket prices will probably be even more outrageous than the last tour.

Things might get interesting around here very soon.......

No way this is true. Dave stuck it to Sammy at every opportunity during that 2002 "Sam and Dave" tour. He's waited all this time to get back in Van Halen, releases their best album in well over a decade and then goes out on the road with "that other guy???" No chance.

    Default Please NO!!!

Why would they do that? A tour down under with Roth seems like it will be huge anyway.God I hope not in my opinion it will ruin what they have going on,everyone I know loves ADKOT AND ALL WE WANT IS A FOLLOWUP.

I think the only way this would even work is if Dave and Sammy never even see each other for the whole tour. No contact with each other whatsoever. I would bet even a little contact would cause too much trouble and the tour could fall apart quickly. The stipulations drawn out by the lawyers for all involved would be long and drawn out to every last detail. The money involved would have to be a very very large sum for this to work and even then....I can see it turning into a disaster if everyone involved is not fully committed to it.

Haha....of course, the chances of this happening are very, very, very low, but this could be some great theater around the Main for a change.

I am praying this is true just because there are a few of you that will be so mad, you'll scream until you're a shade of red that hasn't been invented yet, while shitting on your faces and crying on the ground until every drop of water on the earth evaporates.
