    Default Sharing - Backing Tracks

I was sure there would be a thread for sharing backing tracks here, but I can't find it anywhere so I decided starting this one. Maybe I'm just dumber than I thought, so please close this if there is one already.

Tracks that I'm currently looking for:

    Rounaround
    Take Me Back
    Dirty Water Dog
    (...)

Hey everybody! Post your requests here also! I'm sure there are a lot of linkers in need of backing tracks, or willing to share some... I will post my tracks here if requested!

Attention drummers: if you just recorded a drum cover of any song it also counts, so post a link here please!

Are you looking for the backing tracks of the real Van Halen playing those songs, ie, Al and Mike, or are you just looking for backing tracks, no matter who is playing?
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

There is a site that has a decent amount of backing tracks, some with vocals, some without.

The Van Halen tracks available are heavily slanted towards the DLR era, but it might help in the future.

They are free mp3 downloads, and my work server didn't shit itself when I went to the site, so it is hopefully safe.

    Found this link!

There are a lot of backing tracks there, specially Sam era, which is rare.

Just copy and paste the links on the browser and see if it works, some are broken. The Runaround one works!

To download, just right click on the player and choose "Save as..."

One thing you have to be careful of, if you are using any part of those to play live, many of them on that site are actual band tracks, not computer generated, therefore you can't use them.

Just in case you are one of those guys who plays guitar and sings live at a bar with a bass and drum track in the background.

Also, some of the backing tracks are linked to a karaoke site, in which it is not the band itself but a cover band playing the tracks, and they are for sale there, so I would imagine they are copyrighted and you have to pay to use those as well.

In other words, use that site with caution to avoid legal entanglements if you are a solo artist.

If you are just using them for jamming in your basement, rock out my friends.
