Having another magnet that close to the pickups wouldn't do any damage to them over time?

Yea it would degauss the magnets, but very slowly. While it looks like a handy contraption, I wouldn't use it for that very reason.

Seems pretty weak. I dunno...I suppose there could be a very slight risk to the pickups given their size, and weak field, but I'd think it would be very minimal given that in a small stage setting, or even at home, guitars are often placed very close to guitar amps/cabinets repeatedly where the speaker's magnetic fields are way stronger. Case in point, in my old studio setup, I had a CRT monitor for my computer, and if I had my 4x12 cabs within four feet, the screen would go purple. As I'd move the cabinet away, you could see the purple disappear from the screen. Gives you an idea just how wide those fields can actually get, so a guitar propped up on an amp, or beside it on a stand is gonna see a lot more magnetic energy. Even the magnetic fields generated by the output transformers on older vintage amps can be quite measurable.
I still wouldn't use them though. They look kinda thick and bulky, and probably aren't a great pick in a lot of instances. Just another gimmick.

    4 bucks apiece.

I think I'll just lose a bunch of regular picks instead - it's much cheaper.
