Sorry to burst some bubbles here, but Brad just reported at vh@yahoogroups that Ed will NOT be featured in the upcoming Mountain DVD.
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

"This is a lttle prayer dedicated to the separation of church and state. I guess if they are going to force those kids to pray in schools they might as well have a nice prayer like this: Our Father who art in heaven, and to the republic for which it stands, thy kingdom come, one nation indivisible as in heaven, give us this day as we forgive those who so proudly we hail. Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen. ."

"I think it's the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."

-George Carlin 1937 - 2008

Doesn't surprise me, Ed's name was removed from the Mountain web page a couple of weeks ago (where it referred to the "Sea Of Fire" DVD).

“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

It's just so sad that we get excited about the possibility of seeing Edward in a Mountain concert video. I mean, really, Mountain blows. Name two songs by them without looking it up.

Think how Mountain feels... They just lost out on selling about 100,000 units or more!

Well this sucks. Another -10 points to Ed. Glad I'm not keeping track of his score.

I'm thinking there was just a mis-print/mistake on the Mountain web page... because the original notice for the DVD sighted the "McNears Mystic Theater" performance which occurred on 08/09/02. I recall some folks questioning this when the news surfaced of Ed being included on the DVD but no response was ever gotten.

Ed appeared with Leslie at the House Of Blues on 08/10/02... which was never mentioned as being released on the DVD.

I'm really starting to wonder if it's us old farts in our mid-40's with high milage, that are the only one's paying attention around here!!!!!! You young punks better git with the program...

Leslie West is very underrated.

I'm sure with all the legal shit going down right now, Edward, or more likely Mountains label and/or distributor can't put him on the DVD. I highly doubt Ed has a problem with it. To bad, it would have given the boys in Mountain a huge boost.
