VH / DLR ... how many 1-800... references?

VH / DLR ... how many 1-800... references?

I just heard (the slightly different video mix of??) "Just Like Paradise" with another of Dave's early "1-800..." lyrical things...

DLR - Just Like Paradise : "1-800 see ya baby!"

    DLR - You're Breathin' It : "1-800-SEE YA"

VH - The Trouble With Never : "1-800-Tell-Me-Baby!"

    VH - Blood And Fire : "1-800-It's-Time"

    1) Am I missing any?

    2) Should they make another "number" album ... like: "1-800-Van-Halen" ??

... and does anyone think we should drunk-dial all these? '-D

It's not DLR related but "Dial 1-900-Spanked" comes to mind.

I'm trying to find some lyrical genius in those 1800 references, since I know many of the posters here think they're brilliant works of poetry, but I'm having a real hard time. To me it's clearly a case of diminishing returns when it comes to DLR's lyrics. The 6 pack had some timeless lyrics, ADKOT has some lyrics lifted from the NY Post headlines. But carry on.

haha... well I would certainly never call those particular examples of "lyrical genius"... but they are rather amusing and certainly stick out on ADKOT. '-)

Dave certainly seems to rather be on a kick with them, wouldn't you say? ('',)v

I would say 1 should have been enough. Maybe Dave forget he already used that line during his solo years.

    1-800-he's getting paid!

While we are not for complaining about it.
