Default Bill Murray's Party Crashing Tour of America

Do you ever wonder whether Bill Murray is actually real? He almost seems too mystical, too amazing to be physically walking the earth. Kind of like Santa. But unlike Santa, Bill Murray has a reputation for partying.

Today it was revealed by Murray's agent that he will be undertaking a Party Crashing Tour of America. Paul Horner told reporters “Mr. Murray is looking to take a vacation around the United States. He’s hoping that if he shows up to your party with a bottle of wine or vegetable tray, you will be able to make the proper accommodations for him. This includes allowing him to sleep on your couch or in a spare bedroom, both of those options being completely acceptable.”

Let's think about this for a minute– can you really imagine Bill Murray turning up to your house with a bottle of wine/vegetable tray (because both would be excessive, right?). But apparently B.Muzz is known for crashing parties around New York, so this seems entirely plausible. It kicks off August 1 in Phoenix Arizona, and will end on September 10 in Arizona, Texas.

His agent went on to say, "At these parties, Mr. Murray does not want to be called ‘Bill Murray’ but instead wants to be referred to as ‘Kaiser Soze’. Activities that Mr. Murray enjoys are drinking and karaoke. Having those two things at your party will definitely increase your chances of him making an appearance. Also it is extremely important that any house or location interested in participating have a sheet or banner of some kind attached to their establishment the night of the party. It must say in big bold letters, ‘BILL MURRAY CAN CRASH HERE’. This will let Mr. Murray know at what locations he is welcome.”

    KEYSER SOZE!

Even though this all seems too good to be true, it's completely legitimate. Americans who wish to invite Bill Murray to their party need to call the Bill Murray Party Crashing Tour Hotline: (785) 273-0325 and make a nifty sign to show how keen they are.

I'm surprised Charlie Sheen hadn't thought of this yet.

Maybe Bill will show up at TLW????

Charlie wouldn't want to sleep on your couch. Sex on your couch, with hookers, but not sleep.

This is a spectacular idea, but is he really crashing if there's a giant banner saying he's welcome there?

Instead of Kaiser Soze, I'd prefer Bill Murray showing up as "Nick the lounge singer"

Very Belushi of him. Except John probably wouldn't show up with a snack tray.

He's always been the most obnoxious asshole imo.

Beyond Caddyshack and Stripes, I had no use for him.

He can be. He's a moody SOB. I used to do volunteer security for the Pro-Am at Pebble Beach when I lived in Santa Cruz, and there were times he was unbelievably kind and generous to everyone around him, and then other times he was a complete dick. However, I always get the impression that the reason he acts like a dick is because it amuses the hell out of him. He reminds me of Kaufman; sometimes I'm not sure if he's being funny or not.
