    Documentary Release?

When is the documentary that was being shown last year (I think) going to be released? I think it was called The Long Road to Cabo 2? Anyway, you know the one I mean.

I've been anxiously awaiting it on DVD and haven't heard anything about it. I thought for sure it'd be out by now.

Do you mean "Go There Once, Be There Twice"? I've not seen anything pop up about that so far, maybe holding off to tie it in with other stuff.

Yep. That's the one I meant. I don't know what the point of delaying the release would be.

Caught between two significant events (the death of the DVD, and the birth of Chickenfoot)...this documentary has had a tough road to travel to get into the hands of the Redheads.

Made by the same team that did "Long Road to Cabo", it was somewhat of a sequel. In LRTC, Sammy never really makes it to Cabo. In GTOBTT, he does. And explains how it all came about.

I worked on it for over two years, and would love for everyone to see it, but it's out of my hands now to get it released.

It does surface on occasion, at special Sammy events. I notify the movie facebook page when I hear of screenings or release news.

    Hey Paul,

do you think it will eventually be released? Does it include lots of live footage like the first DVD did?

Again, why not just release it?

He's got his base of fans who will buy it, I'm sure it will be released eventually, so why not just put it out there? Annoying . . .

I would buy it. If it is "in the can", how much more could it be to print a few thousand and distribute? The hard work - filming and editing -is already complete.

BTW, is this DVD connected to the one with "Red" performed over several decades?

That 'Red' compilation was awesome - you can count me in as a buyer!
