Default VH Soundcheck Videos/Charlotte + Greensboro

Hopefully these find there way to YouTube. As Is and Light Up the Sky are on here. Was anybody at these sound checks?

Username LENNONFAN101 ((*J*)) has them but doesn't want to upload them because he promised the person he bought them from he wouldn't. See thread on in the Main about the Stay Frosty fan made video. Which is a cool video.

Would be nice if we could hear a short bit of it to hear the sound quality.

Noticed this in the "You are bidding on" section of the Charlotte DVD description:

I thought that was pretty interesting as well. If this is accurate, it seems to confirm that DLR is the obstacle to a more rotating setlist.

I'm guessing he put the kibosh on adding more material after effing up Hang 'Em High rather spectacularly.

Seems like Dave only wants to do the songs he is most familiar with and not go back and relearn some of the other gems. Just stick to the ones he did for years with his VH tribute band to go along with a few new ones.

Come on Dave, give us a break. In this day and age of youtube we have all seen the same shows online that you are performing on a night in night out basis for the most part. Lets throw in some different stuff, fine if youwant to stick the the same CVH songs, but lets hear other stuff from the new album. We are used to hearing 75% of a new album when its being supported on tour anyways.

Dave never remembers the words to these songs/changes the words nightly anyway, what difference would it make?
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

Maybe they said that because Dave physically cannot sing Light Up the Sky. He cannot sing Blood and Fire. Light Up the Sky isn't any easier.
    Right here I say....

Maybe Dave needs to start showing up to soundcheck/rehearsal.

Agreed. I'm really surprised they aren't playing more of the new album. They should be playing 6 songs minimum. I have tix for Denver, and I'm excited for the show. That said, this is the last time I pay $150ish to hear the same old same old.

$50 for this is a fucking ripoff.
Whoever is selling this needs quit trying to rip off a few people with something that belongs on Youtube for free.

Hang Em High was a little rough the first few times but it was sounding fine after that.

    Same with The Full Bug.

Same with Hear About It Later.

... same would have happened with Blood and Fire, if they kept it in the setlist and didn't only play it twice.

good point - does anyone know why Dave doesnt attend soundchecks? How do they get new stuff in the set if he doesnt show up?
