cool to see that are mods and that powers that be could give a shit about this tour lately. anyway, thanks again to Fontcow for starting this bitch up. saw opening night in 07 in Charlotte. one of the cooler things i've ever done. by the way, the girls in Charlotte are really not fucking ugly at all. absolutely stellar. hoping our boys bring out something new tonight. Paulsitive, enjoy front row dude.

    Default Awesome Show!!

Just got back from the Charlotte show...

    The band sounded AMAZING tonight!

Eddie was on fire tonight. I didn't hear one mistake... not one. He played with a lot more fire than he did in Greensboro (was there for that one). His solo was INCREDIBLE. He couldn't have done it better... although I kept wishing it was longer... Sounded completely amazing. Twice as good as Greensboro.

David Lee Roth sounded great... I thought he sounded good in Greensboro, but man, tonight he sounded even better. He didn't complain about the blowers even though it was a lot cooler temperature-wise than the show in Greensboro (still recovering from that heat wave). Dave did the full sheep dog monologue and seemed to be in a great mood... no yelling at the sound board guy... maybe that dude got fired after his stupid posts and the deal in Greensboro (?). He told the crowd that they will not be gone this long again. (man, I hope not...) Lol, Dave also tried to get the spot light guy to put the spot on some pretty girls on the side of the arena, but it was apparently the spot light guy's first day on the job... he couldn't find them, even though everyone in the crowd there could.

Al seemed to have a blast during and right after his solo. The crowd really gave him a lot of applause and screams and he seemed to really appreciate it.

A cool thing Dave did that I didn't notice during the Greensboro show was during WIL (I believe) when Ed was singing the chorus, he motioned over to Ed and said, "Listen to those vocals!" All proud-like. Dave and Ed had plenty of chemistry together tonight and it was awesome to see.

The sound, also, was 10 times better than the Greensboro show.

If anyone out there is sitting on the fence about seeing this show somewhere near (or not so near) you... go buy tickets. Do it!! They're just getting better and better.

I was totally impressed tonight. And, it was my 13 year-old's first rock concert. He was singing and humming the songs when we left. I was so proud. Full Bug, HAIL... Thanks again, Van Halen!
