Default David Lee Roth in a box

Some one recorded DLR's tracks from classic VH and put it into a staples-like "that was easy" button.

    I like it.

Never thought the "isolated vocals" thing was fair to Dave. Just about any rock vocalist is going to sound terrible if you just play a vocal track alone....that includes the Beatles. Just imagine how awful Mick Jagger would sound!

The Steve Perry's of the world would sound ok.

I agree. Not many singers sound good by themselves it takes a mix with the music to make it sound listenable.
Janie Liszewski did the IMPOSSIBLE she helped Eddie Van Halen get better. Deal with it.

The day is dunzo lets have some funzo- DLR AS IS

There is also a "Diamond Dave" iPhone app that works like a DLR soundboard.
Pretty funny when you start goofing with it.

Would be like listening to an isolated track of the bass player.

I will admit to having listened to isolated tracks of Eddie though. That is often very impressive...but probably only to guitar players.
