    Bummer. RIP

Very talented guy. That "Space Station" opening riff still give's me goosebumps 30 yrs later..

Glad Sam got the band back together a few years ago to patch things up. I think he even brought them in for MTM album..

Statement on the official website said "And true to form, he chose his own exit the way he chose his own life." Sounds like suicide to me.

It is curable and that's the most important. Just make sure you're ready for the after affects that come with the treatment. Those include and not limited to having to wear a diaper for the rest of your life because of permanent tissue damage to the anus and surrounding areas. The same can also be said for not being able to hold your bladder and urinating on oneself which is more prominent with the total removal of the prostate gland than with radiation therapy to the prostate.

Never got much into Montrose, but always a shame when someone pass's.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Glad you can laugh about the passing of a man who not only played with a former member of Van Halen but obviously inspired the band as well. Sometimes this place...

There are many ways to take this. He could have just had enough and stopped his treatment and gone on hospice. Usually, they hook you up on a morphine drip (for the pain) and you go peacefully with family and friends around.

    RIP Ronnie.
