    Damn.

Sad news, R.I.P. Ronnie. Thanks for some great music over the years.
“And what we have at our fingertips is arguably one of the greatest high tenor voices ever – that was in Michael Anthony. In our tiny little corner of the universe, that voice is as identifiable as the high voice in Earth, Wind & Fire, as identifiable as the high voice in the Beach Boys. Van Halen is an indelicate house blend of both – that’s intentionally. So I would always look forward to that reunion.” - David Lee Roth

Freaking balls, man! RIP Ronnie Monstrose. I worked at a music store in the late 80's through the mid 90's. There were a few musicians that would come in and shop and we would talk about studio stuff and what they were currently working on. There was this dude (can't remember his name) that was a session bass player. He mostly worked with Santana but told me a few times about working with Ronnie. His eyes would ALWAYS light up when he told Ronnie stories. You could see he genuinely respected the dude and had NOTHING but good stuff to say about him. You could tell he thought the world of him as a musician and couldn't wait to work with him again.

Wow. Was not expecting this. So sad. I really don't know what to say...what a phenominal player.

My advice is to go for the alien abduction story. Look bemused, dishevelled and on the verge of tears as you recount your story of intrusive and degrading medical tests.
Worked for me anyway. I still have colleagues asking me what it is like to fuck a green womanoid with seventeen breasts.

Not all that familiar with his work, but of course know of him and his band due to his association with Sam Hagar. Totally unexpected headline to see coming in here today. Rest in Peace.

RIP Ronnie, that is just way too young.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.
