Default This tour has become like a box of Chocolates

And I am loving it! You never know what hidden gem they are going to play on any given night. It keeps it fresh and fun for all.

Does anyone have a running list of "hidden gems" that they have played so far on this tour?

It's incredible, they are really giving it to the real fans on this tour. I can't thank them enough and I'm so excited to see what else they pull out. So far:

    Women In Love
    Outta Love Again
    Girl Gone Bad
    Hear About It Later
    The Full Bug

Certainly very different from the last tour, which was great, but the set list did not change once, not even the audience rap. I am pleasantly surprised they are mixing it up as much as they are. They really seem comfortable together and Wolfgang has improved so much, he's really outstanding.

So far the unexpected gems are:

    Hear about it Later
    Girl Gone Bad
    Women in Love
    The Full Bug

    Any others?

For guys like us, sure. For the general-fan who isn't even going to know Hear About It Later, Outta Love etc they need to keep the likes of I'll Wait, Jump, YRGM etc in the set.

They could easily switch out stuff like Everybody Wants Some, Romeo Delight etc though, they're *relatively* obscure.

    EWS is not obscure.

Romeo Delight was swapped for Full Bug last night.

It is obscure, but IMO was their best song on the last tour. Night in and night out that was better than any performance they had. However, Unchained opening MSG last night might top all of them...combined

I don't know how much they have practiced some of these obscure ones, but The Full Bug sounded AMAZING. If they continue to pull out random ones throughout the tour, Brett might have to include Chlorox wipes in with memberships for all the sticky keyboards it will create.
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

When was the last tour that VH actually switched up songs this much? Has it ever happened?
    Hit the ground running...

We came through blood and fire...

"I aim to misbehave." - Captain Malcolm Reynolds: Firefly

Proud fan of BOTH major eras of Van Halen. Yes, we do exist.

The Sass Jordan version of Van Halen was the best...

I gotta give VH credit with changing things up. I was worried checking on Louisville's set list cause I figured it would be the same as Pittsburgh on the 30th. That is how VH had rolled before. 2007, 2004, VH3, Sam era and then the Dave era. Sure songs would be moved around a little bit or others added but nothing like this.

Not sure who is responsible for this cause it is very unlike Eddie, Alex and Dave. Maybe Wolfgang? However he was on the 2007 tour.

Maybe sober Eddie realizing how much fun it is to play some of these songs?

Dave's dog since he is basically the 5th member?

    Anyway its cool

Gee, I always thought every VH fan was like me and has listened to the 6 pack (and now ADKOT) from start to finish a zillion times, so no song is obscure...well, except for I'll Wait, Pretty Woman and Jump.

Play 'em all I says, let the fans sort 'em out.
