I know it's painful to watch the MTV awards, but I was wondering if anyone caught the interview @ the end of the show w/ Sam & the boys(the year he wore the checkered outfit.) I may be wrong on the year.
Did you all notice that Ed & Sam looked like they wanted to kill each other? I heard Ed say "cut the shit," when Sam was commenting on Howard Stern's entrance.
This may have been the beginning of the end.
Maybe this thing goes deeper than any of us know. Just a thought, but I'd like to hear if anyone saw the same thing I did.
Regardless, I've given up hope for Dave/Sam. I think they're both nuts, and Eddie just can't seem to make a firm decision on ANYTHING. Am I wrong? Does this make sense?

Wasn't it 1992? The year they won for RIGHT NOW?

Anyhow, I wouldn't take too much out of that. I don't think Edward tried to control what came out of Sammy's mouth. Maybe it was 1993.

I knew it was over when VH was in Pensacola preparing to kick off a tour (which tour and what year escapes me for now). Jon Stewart(?) was interviewing them for MTV(that is the ONLY reason I would watch that shit-for-TV) and the tension was WAY HUGE!

    That was 1995, BALANCE TOUR.

I didn't notice any tension at all. In fact I thought that was the tightest they sounded in years.
But after all that happend, and then watching the Toronto PPV. It seemed like that show was a "goodbye" Just by the crowd's reaction and the extra encore they did.

I think Ed stated in an interview that problems with Sam started as far back as OU812.
